THE SETUP.

Ensuring that your wiring is properly configured and the electronic systems in your door frame are functioning correctly shouldn’t be a hassel. The following illustrates the simple steps to a more efficient electrical door hardware system.

REMOVE PORT CAPS

where conduit is to be connected – use pliers or flathead screwdriver to pre cap off of port. Leave all other caps in place to prevent mortar from entering FrameFrog.

REMOVE TRIANGULAR CRACK-OFF

where required for clearance with some door frame hardware prep (for example: EPT devices).

REMOVE EXCESS WING TAB

for corresponding depth of door frame, and discard excess.

THE INSTALLATION.

After FrameFrog is prepared and ready for installation, it can be installed with ease by following the simple steps below.

THE INSTALLATION.

Insert FrameFrog into the doorframe.

Place the tab under the back hem of the frame and rotate down into the frame to cover to door hardware prep.

Slide into position where the opening is centered on the hole in the door frame.

For units at the head of the frame, verify the Rear Port is set back approximately 3″ – 4″ from the outside corner of the frame.

Use a screw gun or screw driver to rotate wing tabs under the opposite back hem of the frame.

Continue screwing so that the wing tab rises up tight to the back of the hem to lock in place.
